Rotate daemon authentication credentials without downtime.
Credential Rotation
Daemon credentials authenticate the daemon to the control plane during sync. Rotate them periodically for security.
How to Rotate
- Navigate to the host detail page
- Click Rotate Credentials
- The new credential is issued immediately
- The daemon will authenticate with the new credential on its next sync
Grace Period
Both old and new credentials are valid for a short grace period to prevent sync interruptions during rotation.
Automatic Rotation
Automatic credential rotation is on the roadmap. Currently, rotation is manual.
